PM Modi, Amit Shah To Attend DG Conference At Bhubaneswar

BHUBANESWAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to stay in Odisha for three days from November 29 to take part in the DG-IG conference.
“It is a proud moment for the state that the PM will stay for three days for the big national event, being hosted in Odisha for the first time. The Prime Minister’s Odisha visit also signals the central government’s focus on Odisha,” law minister Prithiviraj Harichandan said.
According to DGP Y B Khurania, all preparations have been made to ensure that the prestigious event is conducted smoothly. DGPs of states and union territories, as well as the DGs of central forces,” said Khurania.
The DGP also confirmed the participation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, national security advisor and other prominent dignitaries.
“The conference will focus on national security issues, and discussions will include the challenges faced by police departments. New guidelines will also be discussed over the course of the three days,” he stated.
