CM To Tour Singapore To Attract Investments To Odisha

BHUBANESWAR: Chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to embark on a four-day visit to Singapore from Saturday to attract investments to Odisha.

This is his first foreign trip since becoming chief minister in June. The primary objective of the visit is to attract foreign investments to Odisha by highlighting the state's potential across various sectors.

Majhi has emphasized Odisha's operational ports and the state's strong focus on the chemical and petrochemical industries, which he believes offer immense growth opportunities. The visit will involve high-level discussions, with the aim of forging partnerships with industry leaders and government officials, including Singapore’s deputy prime minister.

In addition to meetings, the delegation will engage in a series of activities designed to promote Odisha's business landscape, including a roadshow and interactive sessions. These events will be used to showcase investment opportunities and the state's readiness to welcome foreign investments.

Majhi has expressed confidence that the trip will pave the way for meaningful collaborations and help position Odisha as a preferred investment destination, further enhancing its economic profile.
