Narendra Modi Fires Salvo At Opposition
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on opposition parties on Friday, accusing them of becoming frustrated after spending a decade in opposition.
Modi, while addressing a public gathering, said opposition is spreading lies and misleading the people of the country. The PM claimed that the opposition is plotting against the nation, stating, “Their frustration is being directed at the people. They are deliberately misleading the public, attempting to take the country in the wrong direction.”
He said the political parties have the right to take their views to educate people and resort to agitations. But in the recent past, there has been a big shift as attempts are being made to sully the image of the democracy and constitution.
The Prime Minister reached Bhubaneswar to attend the three-day All India DGP/IGP conference, which began on Friday. He accused power-hungry politicians of deceiving the public, saying they resort to new lies when their previous ones fail to gain traction.
“The objective of such parties is to mislead the people of the country and grab power so that the gang that looted the country. Their goal is to confuse the public and grab power. For decades, one group has been exploiting the country and now they are looking for another chance to plunder,” Modi stated.
The Prime Minister pointed to the results of recent elections in Maharashtra, Haryana, and across the country, which, he said, have boosted the BJP's confidence. “The success we are seeing today, from Odisha to Haryana and Maharashtra, reflects the growing strength of the BJP and the dedication of our workers,” Modi stated.
Despite constant opposition propaganda, Modi said the public continues to support the BJP, impressed by the government’s work. He highlighted Odisha, where the BJP achieved a historic victory, securing power on its own for the first time.
