BHUBANESWAR: Sadananda Sahu, a settlement amin at Agalpur Tahasil in Balangir district was on Monday arrested by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting Rs 5,000 bribe from a man to issue his land patta.
"We have seized the bribe money. Simultaneous searches are being conducted at two locations linked to Sahu from the DA angle. In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance PS Case No.5 U/s 7 P. C. Act, 1988 as amended by P.C. Amendment Act, 2018 has been registered," a vigilance officer said.
