Ollywood Actors Scuffle At DCP Office

BHUBANESWAR: Tension ran high in front of Bhubaneswar DCPoffice after director Bobby Islam and actor Manoj Mishra entered into a verbal duel when they were called for an amicable solution to the ongoing dispute between them, reports OTV.
As per the FIR, an individual using the name Manoj Mishra, issued the threats against him. Bobby stated that if any harm comes to him, Manoj Mishra and his team should be held responsible.
Earlier on November 12, an FIR was lodged against him with cyber police in Cuttack by the Odisha Film & Television Directors' Association over his alleged controversial remarks on social media platforms.
Bobby Islam said, “I had come for discussion at DCP office. I had received a threat call and lodged a complaint at Dargha Bazar police station and later Manoj Mishra filed a counter FIR with Chandrasekharpur police. Today, we were called at the DCP office. But Manoj Mishra tried to attack a director and me. I was in a state of fear for which I had come in police vehicle. Though Manoj Mishra apologised before DCP, I am still in a state of fear. He proved that he is true villain.”
Islam further said that today in front of Chandrasekharpur IIC, Mishra tried to threaten and attack director Jyoti Das.
Director Jyoti Das said, “Since long Manoj Mishra has been writing negative posts. Today, he tried to attack me near the DCP office. Though he apologised, I urge him to apologise to the entire Ollywood industry. The way he (Manoj Mishra) behaved is totally unfortunate. He is a trained actor and he should mend ways and take all together.”
Manoj Mishra said, “I am a cool person. Today, we held a discussion with Bhubaneswar DCP. While I was entering the office, Bobby Islam abused me and I got aggrieved. Later, the IIC caught hold of me. I am not a goonda. I apologised to all directors for my today’s behaviour. The word, “Randi Pua” should not be used in any movie and I stick to it. We will oppose along with those who are talking about women safety.”
Mishra further alleged that Bobby Islam made some abusive remarks regarding the actor's marriage and that's why he has lodged a complaint. “I have only apologised for today’s incident and behaviour,” he added.
